Key Stage 4 (KS4) Results 2018
Percentage achieving 9-4 in both English and Mathematics
In 2018, 72% of students achieved a 9-4 in both English and Mathematics. Although national figures have yet to be released, we are confident that we are well ahead. The Norfolk average was 63.5%.
Although we are awaiting government confirmation, we are projecting a Progress 8 score of +0.08. Again, this will be above the national average (national average was -0.03 in 2017).
We are also awaiting government confirmation but are currently projecting an Attainment 8 score of 46.6, which would be above the 2017 national average.
We strongly believe in offering students as much choice in their KS4 options as possible and therefore do not insist that they take EBacc qualifying subjects, though we do always give them the option to do so. In practice, only a small number of students choose to have a full set of EBacc subjects. We believe that this is what is best for our students. In 2018, 7% of our cohort achieved the EBacc. Note: Only 10% of our students chose the EBacc pathway.
We will add 2018 final Progress 8 and Attainment 8 scores once they have been released by the Department for Education.
Key Stage 5 (KS5) Results 2018
Average grade: The 2018 average A Level grade was C- (25.13 average point score).
A*-E: 75% of students achieved A*-E in 3 or more A Levels, 93% achieved A*-E in 2 or more A Levels.
We will add 2018 progress, destination and retention scores once they have been released by the Department for Education.
